$80 for a food grade 275 gallon time saver. I might be watering all $80 holy crap, when I bought mine for tapping I thought $25 was high. that Putin price hike hit across the board

I look at those totes once or twice a month it seems. They've been at least $70 for over a year. I think I saw some around $50 pre-plandemic

No watering of mine yet besides a few at the house but if this 10 day forecast holds it might have to happen. The spruce trees that were 15x the price will probably get first attention though.
Do those big totes have drains at the bottom you hook up to or do you need to pump out of them?

If you want to get a hose attachment they make those as well. I’m just going to drive it around with the skid steer pallet forks to the different planting locations.

I might order potted 5-6 footers next year and pick them up in Iowa.

Some bigger potted ones would be nice!
Went to the land today, saw some leaves starting to brown on seedlings planted this spring finally after no watering. Really don’t have time to water them but hate to see em die too!

Really don’t have time to water them but hate to see em die too! They would be great for yard trees as well ! I’d like to build a small cabin in Iowa and I’d plant a bunch of SBO in the yard . A Little pond ! Could retire, drink beer and watch deer in the yard. Don’t even have to shoot them !

Ordered 110 trees total for either Missouri or Iowa… $123 for 110 trees. That’s cheap .

I've ordered from both Iowa DNR and MDC. Both provide quality bareroot seedlings. I thought Iowa's were better but, MDC are still good. I don't look forward to digging 100 holes though. Planting acorns is a lot easier but, a year or two behind those seedlings.
