I’ll double check. Whenever I get them . Hopefully not sold out. Bare root 16"-24" shows still in stock. Not that I have a high level of confidence in them keeping their inventory updated.

I started this oak from acorns from a guy on one of the old forums. I have always called it a Stamp White Oak. Is that the same as Swamp Bur Oak? I have one growing about 80 miles north of here. It is the same age and not even knee high.

I've never heard of Swamp bur oak before. I ordered 25 swamp white oaks from Iowa State Nursery for next spring. We've got SWO's in the river bottoms.

Swamp White Oak might be the easiest oak to plant and baby in small numbers. Good survival rate, and they grow pretty fast. I'm going to plant them at our place in the hills. I've got 20 miracle tubes. First time trying these. Metal fencing that many is too expensive and I've got 25 crabs coming to find fencing for.
