I would say yes, based on the number of near identical markings and antler characteristics

What would you guys age him at. Does not look old to me at all. Would last yrs pic be a 2.5yr old? I'm self admittedly horrible at aging deer but I don't see much that puts him in the same age class of deer I like to shoot.
I hadn't thought much of it when I videoed him, but since my season is over I was studying videos from last yr and this yr and realized they were awfully similar.

Around here I'd say the top pic is a 3.5 year old and the bottom is a 4.5 year old. That's based on sending in lots of teeth for cementum annuli testing.
I've sent in a ton of buck teeth and only once have I seen a 3 year old that was over 125". Lots of older bucks scored lower though. This is off properties that have produced B&C deer so the genetics were good v

Most focus on the rack... I look at facial features as well. You can often find something that sticks out and match it up.

Sure looks to be the same. That's where I'd place my bet.

Would be cool to see him again next year. This isn't a spot that I go to more than a handful of times a year, 3 sightings in a row would be neat. I see nothing distinct on this deer; no torn ears, no scars, no unusual white patches. Just a deer with similar antlers as last year.
