Given how "accurate" tests are and you guys' symptoms...I'd lean towards you guys having had Omicron. JMO When setting up these tests, there is always a battle between false positives and false negatives. My daughter tested negative but has now lost taste and smell. All her test means is that they didn’t find it at that particular time of sample collection. Yet we make all of these black and white decisions based on the test results. I fear that wade will be right. Loss of taste and smell is not a common symptom of Omicron like it is with other variants. I've believed since very early that we all will be exposed. At what point will it shift from pandemic to endemic? I see no way that it isn't already there.

I know what NOT to believe... and that's the news. I'm 100% peer review studies and habitat forums now when looking for facts. I don't watch news and have completely shut off talk radio. It's all hate and manipulation. Zero interest in anything they have to sell.

Wait... I thought influenza went away due to covid protocols!?! Isn't that how they explained the lack of flu cases when rona numbers went up so high? Isn't that also when they were using the tests that couldn't distinguish between the virus's that cause the flu, rona, and the cold? Flurona, that rolls off the tongue nicely. I'm going to use the shit out of that word!

If Flurona is shown to take off via search engine hits, it will become the buzzword du jour.

What a bunch of crap. Ci infections happen all of the time. Now everybody needs to get both vaccinations. Will they worry about poor responses to too many vaccines at once or just keep recommending boosters?

I was into Minneapolis Heart Institute for an appointment this morning. They are a part of Alina hospitals and clinics. One of the bigger organizations in the state. The Cardiologist told us that just 1/2 hour before our visit.....that Alina doctors will not be making face to face contact with patients starting next week. Most surgery is being postponed. Nursing and Doctor shortage due to covid and full hospitals are forcing closes. All doctor appointments would be via teleconference. He did not know how he was going to care for some folks without office visits and testing, etc.
Covid is running rampant. Serious stuff here folks.....don't get sick. (and dont shoot the messengers). Grin.
