You can say your not a vaxor as you wait a week to get vaxed. Is Covid real, no idea, my immune system has been working great for the past year and a half and I don’t watch the news. Two weeks. Did I tell you to get vaxxed? Nope. I don't give a shit one way or the other. If BLB had told his employer to pound sand and got fired for not getting vaxxed it wouldn't matter to me one bit. You are each adults and can make your own decisions. This is where I get lost. Why does it matter to anyone else if I make a decision to do or not do something medically? The vax never should have become this political issue. Never have you ever told me to get vaxed. Your a smart man. We will see how this all works out. Well until I die of a heart attack in a few years that is. Then you guys will have to see how it all works out. Lol

The way everyone dies in our family we don’t get the words out “lm having the big one”. Lol I've outlived all four of my Grandparents, my Dad, and working on other parents. People dont smoke as much (or generally as long) have far better exercise and diets, better medical care and far more life saving situations in health care than they did years ago. Just go back two decades......and without the medical advances my wife and I would both be dead by now. Me of cancer and her of heart failure. I would not forecast my demise so easily. LIVE ON!

Yep, just had that conversation with my buddy that has stage 4 ass cancer. He would have been dead already if it was the 70's. But may live another 10 years because of how well the treatments are working so far.

I think within the relative near future (20 years?) many older people will have to make a choice as to whether they want to take the medical interventions to stay alive, or refuse them and choose to die.
It won't be long and the 3D printers will be making all kinds of brand new replacement "parts" for us using our own DNA.

One of the most important things everyone needs to do......is to see your doctor regularly and get examined for what may be minor issues with thus or that. Dont neglect signs of changes. You need to establish what is "normal" for your body via their medical records.....and then do as prescribed. Just saying. OH....and by the way I SUGGEST that most Consider Vaxing. Which I maintain is what I have said or inferred all along.

I more lazy. I always tell her "Your going to live to be 150 years old.....and wish you were Dead! Grin.

I only go when I have to, usually cause I ran a stick through my foot or something and almost never due to being sick. Probably going to bite me in the ass someday.

Pretty tough to get them to stick around out here. I don't blame them though, who would want to spend all that time and money on getting a medical degree and then live in/near a town like Long Prairie? It seems for a great many of us, WE had better be the ones monitoring ourselves.

I go through Fairview and they have a great online system where I can see all my history and track How I am doing compared to prior years. Neither my wife or I take any prescriptions and think we can self regulate by exercise and diet.

My 92 year old neighbor ate bacon and eggs his whole life and had a beer or 3 at night against doctors orders for 40 years. He’s my role model. Lol!
