I am just gong to say this once;;;;and willl not banter not this anymore. But.....IMO the fucking Covid thing is real. And you can find all kinds of reasons that you want to deny it....but it does exist....and it is killing allot of good people. I f you choose to play a tough guy or try in some political way to prove otherwise......then, you may suffer the consequences. So be it. I have tried to tell some of my best friends on the web.....my experiences with what goes on with some folks when they find themselves near the end of their rope....and what do I get in return? A fucking bashing by the Ikes of MO. I despise that. And will NOT stand down from this kinda chit. MO....if you do not apologize at once....YOU Will MEET THE WRATH OF WHOM I AM. NOT A THREAT>>>>>A FUCKING PROMISE. Just who I am.

I as a young 20 something year old once told a Navy vet that if he quit smoking it would increase his chances of not dying. He looked at me funny, "you think you have a chance of not dying?"
I feel the people that think a vaccine is going to stop everyone from dying are thinking like I did.

Wife is back in Minneapolis in the Hospital here. Lucky to even get a bed. HUGE nationwide shortage of beds due to Covid variant. Also short of blood. maybe time to reconsider the jab boys. I know a guy right now....health as an ox and 50 years old. Star athlete.....would not take the jab. He's on a ventilator and fighting for his life....while he and his wife are on life support.......while his young kids are waiting for mom and dad to get better. This shit is real. When I got t the hospital (I dont have time to tell the story tonight) the ambulances are stacked up here with folks tying to get in. Serious shit right now. pay attention. I feel for you. I thought my wife died in my arms Saturday night. She had a seizure then stopped all movement with her eyes open. I thought she was dead. I splashed cold water on her and after 30 seconds she came to. I rushed her to the hospital and they got us in despite a full waiting room and no beds. For the first time since this nightmare started 8 months ago they told me they have a lot of Covid patients. Her nurses are saying this is as bad as it has been since Covid started. She has internal bleeding they can not stop and is getting blood transfusions every few hours. Just a waiting game until the bleeding stops. Just a reminder my wife is 42 and this nightmare started with Covid in January. Foggy, I hope your wife is on the mend, it is a helpless feeling when they are in the hospital. |

I don't think anyone denies Covid is real here, I've never had something take my taste & smell away for 3 weeks before. However, that is the only thing it did, I had no other symptoms.
I feel for those that suffered more from it, that still doesn't meant I am willing to wear a mask or get a jab.
It seems unfruitful to 'virtue signal' for either side as there are scientific studies for both.
Chummer & Foggy I sincerely hope your wives come out the other side as a whole person to complete life with you.

Is it real? My neighbor in AZ is still hiding in his house after 18 months, it is to him and his wife. I wonder if they did that before the Flu went away...... |

Is Covid a real threat to people, yes for some and no for others. The reality of it is each of us has an immune system we depend on; some systems are strong and robust and others not so much. Most of western civilizations immune systems are quite weak compared to say Mexico/South America.
For example, Mo’s immune system is probably quite robust, why, because he has seen over 1000 customers a year for decades so it has developed in way to protect itself. For others, maybe theirs are not so strong. Even physically strong people like Marvin Hagler could and most likely had a weak immune system. Each person’s perceived risks are different and therefore their opinion on whether Covid is a risk is different.
Is Covid real, yes and it’s a real risk for some. Maybe what they need is a way to measure immune systems, that would help people make the right decision for themselves.
