I think that what Art has been saying for weeks (months?) is about as good of advice as anybody can give. Talk to your Dr. and see what they say. I suppose if you don't like what they say, then you could switch until you find one who tells you what you want to hear.
I believe Art's Dr. has told him that getting the vaccine is unnecessary at this point. If that's case, why on Earth would he get one?
If you don't give a shit what your Dr. says, then make up your own mind about it. Just like we do about every other health related decision in our lives. You do you, I'll do me
Just found out a bit ago that my 86 year old FIL is in the hospital with Covid. He was fully vaccinated. Will the vaccination keep him alive vs. not having it? Time will tell. The guy has had multiple strokes as well as being diagnosed with Parkinson's. He definitely has some health issues. I'd wager that if he wasn't vaccinated, he'd be dead. Maybe he will be even though he is vaccinated. If he walks out of the hospital, I'd say there is very little reason to think it WASN'T the vax that allowed him to do so.

I hope your father in law does ok and will pray for him. We all make choices in life and live with them. Both my regular doc and my chiropractor feel I should not get vaccinated. My chiropractor did say that his grandparents getting vaccinated was great, as they could get out and enjoy life again. Chris is trying to get the video up on the other thread. It is interesting that some of the concerns of my Doc were shared by this Dr . |

Maybe what they need is a way to measure immune systems, that would help people make the right decision for themselves. That right there is probably the biggest single issue affecting immunity now. I don't think there's a robust understanding of how immunity works, or what someone should or shouldn't do to bolster their immune system. I was blessed to grow up around every kind of farm animal you'd find in the countryside. If we stopped to wash our hands every time we touched some shit or a dirty animal, we'd never get anything done. I've never been one to use 99.9% sanitizer. I think that is completely antithetical to the purpose of the product. I'm still cautious with stuff touching my skin like chemicals and fuels. But otherwise, a good swipe on the pant leg is good enough for me to grab something and shove it in my mouth. |

My take is this, don’t keep telling me I need to get a shot because you got a shot. Don’t try and pay me $100 to get me to take a shot, I don’t need money that bad. Don’t tell me the shot is effective when people get it and still get COVID after the shot. Don’t allow 200,000 illegals across the border every month unmasked and tell me i need to be masked. People died of the flu and pneumonia every year and no one was jumping up and down about that. So why is something with a death rate of of less than a half of one percent a pandemic? Why are we not allowed to believe our own immune system works anymore? It’s all about the money and power over the people. Some people have sucked into the bullshit, I haven’t.

Why on earth would anyone get a shot for last years Virus? Now we have the Delts Virus, not as strong and the old vaccine does nothing for it. Come on man! |
