I thought I had posted this before, but my post must not have gone through. Any prayers you can spare for a 50 something year old gal from the area would be appreciated. We know and love her son. The family did a DNR yesterday, but she showed improvement today. Maybe a couple extra prayers/good thoughts helps her to turn the corner. Prayers sent. Improvement is good. I have a few stories now of people that were considered gone and made recoveries. |

My mother in law tested positive and seems to be doing better after being ill for 10 days. She received monoclonal antibodies yesterday. They sure drag their feet on that treatment after a positive test. I am not real impressed with the care she received as an outpatient. There is a lack of communication.
I feel those who are not vaccinated need to just accept that they will go through the disease and might do so at another time in the future. The story might also be the same for many who are vaccinated.
As I said before, 50 plus per cent of my neighbors have had it.

She had the monoclonal antibody treatment about a week ago. She's still in an induced coma state. Keeping her in your prayers is very much appreciated. For anybody "keeping score", she was unvaxxed. She has 3 children. None are vaccinated. 2 of 3 have jobs in the health care field. All 3 have college degrees of some kind. All 3 were and still are unvaxxed. I have no idea what a person should or should not do. |

I have no idea what a person should or should not do. Thoughts and prayers here Stu. Hope she overcomes this. Couple takeaways as I see it. 1. Lots of Covid happening now. Local hospital has folks stacked in the basement. 2. Folks that been vaxed seem to overcome faster than non taxed folks. 3. No hard or fast rules on anything covid.....seems to be allot of variables. It's all about playing the odds. 4. We are avoiding going out to eat or seeing friends on a casual basis as much as practical. I feel a few more months will change things.....dunno.....maybe that is more hope? My wife cannot get sick. 5. We all gotta have a life through all of this. Too much has been sacrificed that has been a result of stupid fear and politics. 6. Most of us will never trust the CDC or our Government on these issues again. They blew it. 7. F'n Biden. F'n Harris. Mother-F'n Fauci. |

Odd stuff happening for us all. My wife and I are now GREAT grandparents. My Granddaughter gave birth to a wonderful baby girl in early September. We were unable (and not invited)) to the baptism due to covid concerns for the baby and for my wife.
My Granddaughter is bringing the new baby along to deer "camp" at our house next weekend. Finally....we will meet our Great Grand-daughter. Crazy times......yet.....some tings are too risky due to covid. We are all sacrificing under these times.

They are talking about changing the definition of ‘fully vaccinated.’ It is very evident that the disease is progressing far beyond their knowledge and even their BS can’t keep up. I agree, Tom, that you and your wife need to be careful. |

I did know quite a few kids with some level of polio when I was a kid. Lots of deformed fingers and such. Parents were scared. Same for TB and a few others back then. Lots of babies didn't make it through child birth back "in the day"......but then lots of babies don't make it through child birth these days either. |

Show me proof of those thousands of deaths! 5 kids died in the USA from a tainted vaccine produced by Cutter laboratories, and 5 more died from polio after contracting it from people vaccinated with the tainted vaccine. |
