From what I've been learning/hearing lately, obesity is likely the reason for the great majority of Covid deaths...at least in the U.S. anyway.
I figure we all know where each other stand on this issue by now. Get the vax or don't. I don't care. Just don't tell others what they should or shouldn't do with their bodies.

I thought I had posted this before, but my post must not have gone through. Any prayers you can spare for a 50 something year old gal from the area would be appreciated. We know and love her son. The family did a DNR yesterday, but she showed improvement today. Maybe a couple extra prayers/good thoughts helps her to turn the corner. This gal is still on a ventilator. She had the monoclonal antibody treatment about a week ago. She's still in an induced coma state. Keeping her in your prayers is very much appreciated. For anybody "keeping score", she was unvaxxed. She has 3 children. None are vaccinated. 2 of 3 have jobs in the health care field. All 3 have college degrees of some kind. All 3 were and still are unvaxxed. I have no idea what a person should or should not do. Just heard this gal is now breathing on her own. She is far from being "out of the woods" but she has already beat the odds. God is good. Got any prayers to spare, send them her way |

My cousin got the online packet to pick his benefits for the new year. He got a prompt during the process that announced he was getting $100 taken from his paycheck every month starting in December because he's not vaccinated, he works for LinCare, shit just keeps getting crazier.
I told him I know it'd 8 years down the drain but something you gotta say enough is enough.

What's the justification for withholding more money? I understand that insurance traditionally pays for preventive care but to charge for lack of preventive care? Might as well charge extra for crappy diets and not running 5 miles a day. |

May be to pay for his weekly test. Biden should mandate insurance pay for the testing then, and not allow them to hike premiums. It's coercion plain and simple. Biden is as dirty and unempathetic as they come. Dude has zero soul for the working class. |

Just got back from a delivery in Brainerd. Customer got his first shot in March, Afib in April. Been fighting the effects since. To many that I know to think it’s a coincidence.

Our small city's head of public works died of Covid on Friday. Nicest guy. 60 years old. Not a complete fat-ass, not a marathon runner. A deer hunter. Sounds like maybe another public works worker was noticeably sick at work, and wouldn't go home or go get tested. We have generous sick days available. The City Administrator likely could have sent any worker away for showing sickness, and didn't know they could do it. No good. They have to die of COVID, must be illegal to use the word pneumonia anymore I guess. |
