Just heard this gal is now breathing on her own. She is far from being "out of the woods" but she has already beat the odds. God is good. Got any prayers to spare, send them her way Sucks to post this, but this 52 year old gal just lost the fight to Covid (and ya, it was to Covid). I don't even know how to talk with her boy (who we love like our own) about this. You talk to him the same way you would if she died in a car crash. Sorry for your loss, mourn and get on with life. At least that’s how I would do it.

I am really surprised. I am hearing so much about covid all over. I do not know a single person or someone that knows someone that has had it in months.
I am not downplaying it, but I must be in a pocket that its not affecting. I dont get it.
And very sad to hear about the gal passing Stu. knock on wood I have not known anyone or again know anyone thats aquainted to someone that has died.

This gal is the 3rd locally in the last week or 10 days who we know of. Today's hits hard because we knew her, and because her boy is a personal friend. Losing your mom at 29 isn't something anybody is "supposed to" experience, but clearly it happens every day. That doesn't make it any less painful though...

interesting. Last winter up around Henning, OODLES of people had covid up there around where my parents live. They had several friends in the area that had it. It was rampant by all means. Many very elderly people had it and nobody passed fortuneately. I wonder why small communties such as yours are experiencing such widespread exposure. I have not heard of anything around henning yet this fall.
in the Big Lake area, we havent had anything close to what the parents were amongst up there since covid began.

I'm convinced there is something genetic with this virus. Whether that was/is part of the genetic engineering we (Fauci) paid for or not, I have no idea. My FIL is an old ass (85?) man with Parkinsons and a number of previous strokes. He got the Covid and came home a few days later. This guy's mom gets the 'rona and dies at 52as a relatively healthy (central MN standards) person...that makes zero sense.

Give him as much as you can even if it's uncomfortable. I know 3 people from my class who have died from it. People I grew up with. I'm only 48. In our community kids are getting it a lot less than they were a yr ago. It's passed through the school and natural immunity seems to be good for that age group. I do however know of quite a few parents who have been hospitalized recently due to covid. Our older community has had a rough fall.

I believe it's a stronger influence than fitness or diet.

A few days ago, I read of a genetic link where some populations were more susceptible. I can’t remember where. Maybe a British article.

I believe it goes in waves through communities. Two members of my wife’s family and a few others in a nursing home are going through it. The cities had a wave earlier.

The incidences of Covid are almost certainly going to do nothing but climb in northern areas for the next few months.

Time for Gov Walz to shut us down again? That POS sure has been quiet for a long time.

Time for Gov Walz to shut us down again? That POS sure has been quiet for a long time. There will be no further shut downs IMO. Walz has been keeping his profile down because he realizes any association with Pedo Joe and the Squad will not garner him votes among the "traditional" D voters in this state. Dr. Scott Jensen has a legit chance in '22 I think. Paul Gazelka should just shut down his campaign before it even gets started and throw his support behind Jensen...that'll never happen because Gazelka isn't even a Republican. He's barely a RINO

Too bad Trump didnt follow the path of just shut up for a year before the election. We would NOT be where we are now if he had shut his arrogant cake hole.

To bad it bothered some of you so much you would except the total collapse of a country by voting for a fucking total idiot because of some hurt feelings.
