I remember the stories of your Dad and his actions. Nowadays, many are sheltered and much more sheltered than those of us on this forum. Sheltered from the kind of language that Trump used and sheltered from what I heard on many small family farms. |

You of all people working with cattle have heard the most foul language of almost any profession. Why is trumps language judged any different then a farmers sorting cattle? |

I loved Trumps lack of a filter. I liked most of his policy.
I hope he don’t run because he will lose. Either by vote or cheating they will make sure of it.

I think there are ALLOT of additional votes available with a good candidate that has the same policies as Trump....only can speak more presidential. De Santis has these qualities and may gain allot of votes. Sadly there are too many out there that will stick with "anybody but Trump". Trump will have his die-hard followers....but I'm not sure that he can win again with 49% of the voters. I like the politics of both Trump and DeSantis.....but DeSantis does not carry so much baggage.
If Trump would admit that he is getting too old....and throw his support to DeSantis.....I'd like to think the party would have a good multi-year run. Not sure he can do that.

^ Also, I am not sure whom Trump might be able to take cabinet positions. He has burned too many bridges to fill those spots with good candidates.

You didn't ask me, but I'll throw my answer out there. Most people in the US live in urban or suburban environments. Most wouldn't know a cow from a bull. Trump is an abrasive douchebag. He always has been and always will be. He's a fucking New Yorker after all. That's part of his allure to many of his followers, and one big reason why many can't stand the guy. |

What do you think peoples impressions would be of 99% of top performers in any field? If you drive across Minneapolis and St. Paul you will drive by hundreds if not thousands of top executives in corporate business, small business, healthcare, academia, athletics etc. These leaders by their nature are not ultra-nice people who deal well with a hyper-sensitive society. In fact most of these people would be disliked by most other people because they are completely intolerant (like Trump). At the same time these leaders guide the nation to great success despite corrupt politician's and an ignorant population. The truth is most people in this country have no idea the debt they owe the free market and the many people who make it successful. Unfortunately most citizens have no idea how the world works, they are vulnerable to corrupt politicians and unable to figure out why our society is deteriorating. Sad part is less and less people are voting for a person because they think its the right thing to do for the country (I still do) and instead many more people are voting for the candidate who can give them the most money. . Just to clarify, I did not vote for Biden. You may be right on both counts. Hard, tough leaders are needed and the majority of people won’t vote for them. So we got to compromise a bit. Tough to find the right person. |

Heck , things are starting to slide at 15 years younger than that age for me. |
