Trying to get this discussion back on the topic of this thread... Per Dr. Scott Jensen who is running for the Minnesota Governor, there were about 650 Covid deaths from about October 4 to Nov 5. 44% of those deaths were in fully vaccinated people. Does this mean the vaccine works, it fails in many cases, or will the government change the definition of fully vaccinated? It looks like the third dose is becoming part of the term ‘fully vaccinated.’ How will they handle the definition of fully vaccinated with the mandatory work place requirements? Is the one dose of J and J vaccine still called fully vaccinated? br] I would like to see data in those 600 plus who died, about how many had a previous covid infection.

I think I heard that a second dose of one of the other vax is "recommended" now (I don't know if recommended means required though)

Just spent a few hours at the local ER. Nothing serious, but did want to share that there are zero (0) beds available at the LP hospital. There was a young couple with 2 infants (possible Covid) there who had waited 90 minutes to be seen and were still sitting there when we left. Nowhere to be seen by a physician...

Saw an online article today (think it was from the Duluth paper) about Centracare facilities. They're all full. When we got back today my wife looked up wait times at L.P., Sauk Centre, and St. Cloud hospital ERs. L.P. was over 2 hours. The others weren't bad (30-45 min).

Our substitute preacher came to church a week ago Sunday feeling a little ill. Yesterday they took him 30 miles away to the nearest hospital but they were full, so they tried Wichita... no empty beds there either, so they flew him to another town in eastern KS. Lots of sick people right now.

Don't know what to believe anymore.

I can't speak for what's going on up there but I've personally known zero people who had a complication from getting the vaccine, and only 1 who ended up in the hospital with covid after vaccination. Of course I have a pretty small sample size living here in now-where KS. Are her covid wards filling up with non-covid patients?

My fishing buddy has been ill since the first morning of deer season(11 days) and doesn’t seem to be getting any better. The VA is sending him some prescriptions. His wife started first and now has ups and downs days.
Both my daughters have been exposed and are showing very mild symptoms. One is vaccinated, one is not. The non vaccinated one had a negative test. It is also cold / flu season so who knows.

My brother in law didn’t feel well for several weeks after the first jab. They delayed the second jab. I suspect he was incubating the disease at the time of the first jab, as his Mom was getting ill. He helps her with things around the house every day and lives close to her.

Have the government agencies given up on this trace back thing? So widespread it is not worth the effort?

Have the government agencies given up on this trace back thing? So widespread it is not worth the effort? Too many people giving the number 867-5309 I believe they gave up on contact tracing, yes.

We haven't contact traced for a long time, since last year some time? As far as where I work is concerned you are either sick or you are not. If you are sick stay home. At this point I would guess that a very high percentage of our population has been exposed. Some will get sick and some will not. Some will have the sniffles and some will die.
