Are u getting side rails? Is the floor 2x6s? Wasn't planning on it. I don't know. I'd be surprised if they used 2" stock. Deck boards would have been my guess.

I like that trailer a LOT.
I talked myself into gettting the 65 inch wide bed, so the tires and trailer lined up with the truck. Didnt think i needed more width anyway. But looking at that trailer, thats an awfully dang nice trailer. Plus that axle is quite a bit larger than the one I got. Although I dont intend on loading it down, but never know.

Mies is out of stock on that trailer for half a year. I can go with an aluminum deck model for more money. Covid sure fucked up the supply stream.

Whatever I get for my next trailer down the road, it's very unlikely that it'll have rails on the sides. If it does, they will be removable. Getting pallets of shit on and off mine is a science project unless the forklift driver knows what he's doing. It's the side rails and stupid fold down ramps that are the problem.

7x14 is what I have. I like the size. I just wish I had a higher capacity than 2,000LBS. My ATV and Mower load up nicely and are about 1,400LBS combined. When I bought it, I never thought about a ton or a ton and a half of pelletized lime or fertilizer at a time.

I wish I had gone with a heavier axle. Mine is 65 inches x 12 ft. It handles stuff that I need in general, but I shoulda gone bigger.

Spring for the easy lube hubs, unless you like taking them apart and packing them every year. I'm on axle number two for my trailer. "I'll take care of the bearings after this trip." Six months later, "Dang, I never did take care of those bearings."
I had one completely disintegrate and disappear on a trip up North. Thankfully, I had no fire. I only noticed it at the end of my trip North when I went to back the thing out of my driveway. I saw the wheel wobbling. The spindle was trashed, and permanently attached to the axle. So I had to get an entire new axle and install it myself at camp.
From now on, it's easy lube and regularly checking them.

I have side rails and yep it’s a major problem getting pallets on it. I do have part of the side rail that comes off as a ramp and that helps but it’s still not easy. So far I get by with what I have. A guy needs about 4 trailers including a dump trailer.

I had a car trailer, a firewood trailer, bobcat trailer, 24’ flatbed gooseneck trailer, 24’ gooseneck livestock trailer and a fricken snowmobile trailer. Way to many.

I have three trailers. One is a plastic tub-type trailer for projects in the yard and hauling deer. Then I have an Aluma drop gate Utility trailer that is getting worn out (3500 lb axel). Then I have a 16 foot tandem axel car trailer that is rated to 10,000 lbs. I get along with those three qiuite well......but that aluminum trailer is showing it's age.

Side rails on a trailer are only good if your hauling dirt, sand or the such. Anything else can be secured with straps. That is unless the side rails are removable.

I much prefer side rails over open bed for hauling gear.....
I had a near disaster once. My John Deere lawn tractor was on my snowmobile trailer. I had 4 ratchet straps(One off each corner).
Got to the Osakis exit on 94, and was on the exit ramp turning onto the road headed to Osakis.... I looked in the mirror as I turned and noticed the tractor looked odd. Got out and checked, the damn tractor was loose and had rolled forward, and was only saved from going off the front of the trailer by the spare tire I have mounted on the tongue of the trailer.
