Probably a little shed hunting, and maybe some TSI. Nothing major as the kids will be home. You could put them to work Saturday and relax on Sunday.

Haircut early Saturday. Then pruning more apple trees. Heading to Maine on Sunday morning for a seafood platter.

After going through some respiratory infections and battling an ear / sinus infection, we will have another Easter without seeing our kids. Maybe in a week or two we can get together. I am not doing much habitat work until the wind lets up. Checking a gopher trap is about it. 3 days of this shit is really getting old. I've picked up my trash cans multiple times a day for the last few days. Just put some big rocks on them to see if that will keep them upright. I've been wanting to do some more frostseeding, but tiny clover seeds would be flying all over in this wind.

You just gotta get on the windward edge and point your blower up at a 45 degree angle and let'er rip. You'll be able to shoot clover 100 feet on days like that. John Deere's finest can't get that kind of range.

What's the name of that seed blower attachment thing you guys use? I got a blower for my birthday and all of a sudden the seeding attachment seems like something I should look at.

Would that blower attachment allow brassica to "penetrate" the ground if you pointed it at the sand on my place? Then I could plant in the bean / corn rows. I gotta find a way to get brassica or rye / oats, in the bean rows covered with dirt.
On my sandy soils....those broadcast seed dont "take" without some good soil contact.

Rye doesn't even grow when broadcasted?
