OK....I did a search for a "beer thread" and didn't see one.....tho I know we have discussed good beer. Down here in OZ....one of my favorites recently is a brand called "805', It's brewed in Central Coast California.......and may be the best thing to come out of California since Levi Jeans. Is this available anywhere else?
Other good brands recently?

Can't get 805 beer within 100 miles of L.P. If you go to their website you can plug in a zipcode to see where it can be purchased.
I've been stuck on High Life and Busch Light for quite awhile

I've been stuck on High Life and Busch Light for quite awhile It's become quite popular here. They got it on tap.....and its going over pretty big. It kinda reminds me of Spotted Cow....maybe more mellow with more flavor. It's a Lager. In my youth....I think I kept High Life and Grain Belt Premium in biz for a few years. .

There are soooooo many new beers/lagers/ales on the market now I have no idea what to buy when I go look...that's why I end up with the old regulars. I suppose I could go back to driving to Sauk Centre and do a mix and match 6er to try new stuff. I just don't drive down there much anymore.

Not a High Life fan, but we liked Grain Belt premium. Then we had GBX.

Seems I go from brand to brand somewhat. Tho I try to find relatively low-cal beers that have some flavor. I like low ABU beers with a little flavor. Either an ale or a Lager generally. I HATE IPA beers.....which seem to be all the rage with younger folks. Dont understand it. Also I despise beers with orange or lime or fruit flavors. What is wrong with people?

I like a lot of IPAs and dislike just as many. Maltier versions (they tend to be Imperial or Double IPAs) are quite good to my palate. They aren't an "all day drinker" though. 2-3 at a sitting is enough. Fruit flavored beers aren't my thing either. On a hot summer day I do enjoy a few hard lemonades though

I lean towards a brown or amber ale most of the time. I’ll have aSam Adams summer brew now and then.
I can drink an ipa but I don’t understand the popularity. They bore me with hoppiness.

If I could get Juengling here, that'd probably be about all I'd drink.
I do like regular Sam Adams as well as their Octoberfest. I used to be big into Maibocks, but it doesn't seem like many brewers in MN make them...at least I don't find many around here.

I don’t like beer but had a yuengling down in Florida when visiting my parents this winter. Wasn’t too bad. If I had to I could drink a few of them.

I drink a lot of Fat Tire and 1554. Not much on IPA's or fruity beer. Although, there is an apple beer my wife has been buying that I like pretty well.

yuengling is my go to beer. When in doubt at a restaurant I know I’ll like one of those.
