Everything got done. I had to run till dark. Cabin is in shambles. I wanted this done so badly, and I wanted that piece of shit loader off my property. North plot remodel is complete. South plot reboot, remodel, and expansion is complete.

How are you going to prevent erosion on those raised blinds? Haven't thought that far ahead. Aimed a little larger than the foot print hoping it'd hold.

That looks nice. Did you dig your watering hole ditch deeper? No. I dug new ditch to get the fill to raise up my plots. They all lead to ponds though. In the north plot, I had a ditch on the east side already, and that dirt was bermed up next to it. I dug a new ditch on the west side. Spread the berm and the new ditch dirt towards the middle.

I must have missed it.... The mote is a planned water containment system?? Yep. I'm trying to raise up the land and gather any of that extra water into my ponds.

When you get time we need an updated map of everything on how it lays out.
Looks good.

One of the big benefits of doing this yourself is getting that time to fix the little things. Last year’s expansions needed some love. There were potholes that puddled and killed my cereals. There were other gouged out spots that needed to be fixed, and other spots that just needed to be dressed up. This is the expansion next to the hoog. Not raised, just cleared. Got the puddles fixed and the stumps out, except that one in the bottom. Where the hoog meets this expansion, the water runs through. It was all rutted up and full of roots and shit. I cleaned out its path and dressed up the area. I’m hoping that tiny ditch settles and I can drive through it soon. This is the other side of that area. Also needed to be cleaned up and smoothed out. Done deal now.

Ran up to Bemidji to get the last of the lime. Picked up a bonus project this morning too. Gotta put up some new shelves. My tool cabinet fell apart. Got 600 pounds on this load. 200 of it is riding shotgun.

Times when my daily driver was a Datson or a Kia I filled the trunk and passenger seat just to get something hauled. Even strapped kayaks to the top and filled the cars with duck decoys.

Didn't make it out of my parking row and I reached over and strapped 'em in.
