Hopefully the 2022 MN hunting regulations get released tomorrow Monday 8/1.
Please post here if you're seeing the book at gas stations before it's online.

Looks like they have changed the data but not the "2021" on the deer permit map: www.dnr.state.mn.us/hunting/deer/map.htmlOne area I hunted last year remains 3-deer limit, another went from hunter choice to 2-deer limit.

If you click on your zone and then click on "Detailed Report" it has the 2022 date attached to the report. Looks like my zone is 3 deer again this year. Considering what beef costs I could see an increase in deer harvest this year.

My zones are all three deer. Not really complaining about that, but the early anterless season is not needed in the zone south of Starbuck/Glenwood. The DNR guys got a lot of criticism on that, but they stuck to their guns and said it is needed? Whatever I guess.

3 deer plus early antlerless here again. I'd guess it will stay that way pretty much forever...maybe up to 5 plus E.A. once the DNR finds a CWD+

I'm going to guess that will effect absolutely no-one.

I have yet to see anybody in my neighborhood hitting the woods for EA. I'm very thankful for that. I'm also very thankful to have zero public land for a good number of miles.

We are 5 again this year plus extra cwd seasons, but that was expected. The deer herd is holding up pretty well against nearly unlimited tags, but if we get a tough winter things could change.

My neighbor’s grandson shot two last year. I guess that would be the youth hunt. He was excited and it didn’t hurt us at all.

My objection to the hunt is that it could screw up bowhunting for a period of time as well as screwing up activity before the regular firearm season. With the lack of participation, I think EA should just go away.

I will probably hunt the two days before the youth hunt with the bow this year.

Future elk range? Moose area?
