Better cage those spruce trees since a tall, straight spruce with few branches would be a rub magnet! I agree 100%!!👍🏻

I said I was done planting trees. But the daughter wanted to do 100 BHS this year. Got a box of 100 seedlings that look great, but I think they sent Blue Spruce. At least that’s what they look like to me. Oh well.

I started cleaning all the ditches on this home farm last year and seeded every buffer strip. I used what seed I had left over from the business. This buffer is blue grass and tall fescue. lol! I finally finished this spring piling all the trees I tore out with my new excavator thumb. So handy that thing is. One of the huge piles in the background. Pheasants and rabbits will have some great cover for years to come.
