I know Art has mentioned this combo before, but Wow when it materializers the deer love it. Beds, sign, trails … & we bumped deer when we walked it for pheasants. We stayed out of it all year due to the BIG buck hanging out in there ! It’s definitely bedding paradise for deer !

Did you jump the big buck?
That's a great combo for both deer and small game. Did you plant willows or were they growing there naturally?

Did you hit the site match lottery? I've been scrapin' and scrappin' to get my dogwood population up, and you've probably got more in that picture than I have on my whole property.

That's a cool area. Is that a tamarack in the first picture?
How many pheasants did you flush when you walked through there?

If you can't find a trapper, it is actually pretty fun to hunt beavers with a gun. My beaver pond was pretty small, so a shotgun with turkey loads did the trick. I'm sure a .22 or larger rifle would work too. The beavers on my place prefer aspen, so it is odd to see them cutting down an oak.
That looks like a fun spot to sit when the wood ducks are migrating through.
