We got some Badgers in Minnesota. Most are also Packers fans.
We need to have pity on them as they don't know any better.

Funny story I'll tell on myself....couple years ago when i was hunting up at Brad's place I was pumped that I thought I was watching a badger. Sent him a pic....it was a big fisher. Yeah, we don't have either down here really. But no....not the same.
We will let it slide.

There are 3 different weasels that turn white in the winter in Wisconsin From biggest to smallest Long Tail Weasel Short Tail Weasel (I think this is the ermine ) Least Weasel dnr.wi.gov/topic/WildlifeHabitat/furbearers.htmlI am pretty sure this is a least weasel I got a photo of during gun season last year. He was less than a foot long.

My parents had a cute little white weasel move into the farmhouse for the winter about 10 years ago. They did not have any mice problems that winter!

When I was a kid, Dad left his deer heads in the garage over the winter. A weasel would move in and we had no mice in the garage/ entryway to the house. He used to lift me up to the window to see the weasel.
JPS knowledge!

I just wanted to pull this thread to the top from my bad experience....
I assumed that planting apple trees in town would be easy. I didn't put window screens around anything. DUMB
I lost 3 trees this summer from something nipping the tops off. I planted a string of trees on B.9 between the neighbor and our place just last week to replace those 3 trees. Well now all three of those got nipped off and another Honeycrisp on B.9 that i've been babying for 3 years has been girdled. I feel dumb. Window screens will be purchased asap and put on. Pictures to follow when I do that.

To top off the fact that I have all the main line predators at my place, I now have shitpiles of rabbits eating stuff, and a couple of badgers ripping up my food plots now.
