We picked up a turkey pot pie from Thunder Lodge in LP awhile ago. It was literally the best pot pie we've ever had. I should have bought two and put one in the freezer. Love pot pie!

Went to Herbie's in Flensburg to pick up fish tonight. Major power outage from the west side of Little Falls to Browerville. Their power was out, but they sourced a generator and pulled off the fish fry. The haluski was delicious as always.

We found a couple local places open a day before Kim Jung Walz "allowed" them to. A bit of freedom and normalcy was sure welcome

A couple local places never closed at all this time, but the only way to get in/get served was to be an insider. Since my wife and I are transplants, we'll never rise to that level.

Neither of us felt like cooking and making the house hot tonight, so we ran up to Double Eagle Golf Course/Bar/Grill. They have southern fried shrimp for a Thursday special. We've been meaning to go there for the shrimp, but we rarely go out during the week. It was really good. We'll go back.
The place can't be too far from Wade's new Shangri-La

Decided to check out that golf course.....as I have not heard of it before. Interesting.....they change the direction of play every other day. Never heard of that done before. Good menu. Might be a good location for our Deer Habitat annual golf and Habitat Summit meeting? . Would be a fair location for a few of us to attend.

Surrounded by farms with plenty of Amish in the area. There were a bunch of folks there tonight golfing. We've eaten there a few times now and have been happy every time.
