I like adventure, but I get roadblocked on stuff such as that. I want to try something like that so bad, and then I lean over to the Jalapeno cheddar burger cuz I know I am gonna like it.
HOWEVER,,,,, I tried the Thai Pie pizza at Chagens in Henning(now named Gateway Pub) recently..... Spicy peanut sauce, chicken, pineapple, cranberrys, red onions, and bacon.
Its so damn good, but my brain is in a funk while eating it. It makes no sense to my normal food, but its really really good. I have ordered it a handful of times now.

Had a PB&J burger today at Shady's Golden Eagle, first time ever I've had a burger like that. I always wanted to try one and could just never get past the "weird" factor. I really wish I had tried one before. Fantastic. I'll be ordering one the next time I see one on the menu One of my favorite burgers of all time has peanutbutter and jalapeno relish on it (and a greasy ass bun!). Sounds awful but it's great stuff!

After the burger I had yesterday, I'd try the one you mention in a heartbeat. I had a burger a year ago or so with a slab of cream cheese, sliced jalapenos, bacon, fried cheese curds, and raspberry sauce. Friggin' awesome

Brick and Bourbon in Maple Grove PB&JAY A handcrafted burger patty covered in habanero jack cheese and topped with our extra thick cut bacon. Here comes the fun ... our specialty honey glazed donut is lightly spread with mayo, tart sriracha pomegranate marmalade and homemade creamy bourbon peanut butter.
We are going there for lunch, but I cant get myself to try it...... Honey glazed donut just doesnt sound right..... not to mention I am diabetic.

We ate at the "Historic Rock Tavern" today. It's on the north end of Big Birch Lake, north of St. Rosa, west of Upsala, south of Grey Eagle. The place used to be owned by "Precious Paul" of WWE fame (infamy?). I guess before Paul owned it, it was a fine dining destination. Paul ran it into the ground. We went in there a few times when he owned it and it was like we were putting him out to give him money for food and beer. It had been closed for a few years before it sold and was re-opened in late November this year. I think it will become a destination dining spot again in the near future. I wish the owners much success

We stopped in Tomah today to grab some cheese. I miss good cheese. Why did all of the Swiss cheese makers settle in WI and not cross the river?
Picked up medium Swiss, ghost pepper habanero havarti, and mango habanero. Also grabbed a couple tubs of Bucky Badger cheese dip. That stuff is addictive. I had to open the horseradish cheddar tub as soon as we got home.

When I returned to central Minnesota, all of our local creameries were making butter and I felt Mn. Had far better buttermakers. Different flavors from different creameries. Consolidation has eliminated what I felt was the best Butter. Local creameries competed at the state fair for best butter.

I like the Carr valley shop in Mauston right off the interstate. Can sample about a dozen cheese spreads and numerous other cheeses. Plus I just like Carr Valley cheese.

I agree that Carr valley is probably better. Where is the one right off the I? East side of the Mauston exit? I have always gone to the actual cheese factory on the edge of town.

If you guys had eaten 1/2 to 3/4 lb. each of the two hot cheeses...you'd have one helluva of a burning butthole The mango habanero is hot, but not too hot. The ghost pepper/habanero combo is HOT...and we eat a lot of HOT food.

Always a shit ton of samples out the couple times I've stopped in there.
