Question - since they are selling elevated blinds do they have to carry hefty insurance for this? Not being nosey just curious Insurance? You want to pay $3000 instead of $1500? LOL!

They should have something drawn up releasing them from liability. It must be signed with every sale. If something ever goes wrong these kids could get sued by a pissed of customer or their family.
I wish these kids were closer. I’d like to have a nice blind or two.

And someone could develop diabetes or get E. coli from drinking at some little girls lemonade stand. Maybe we should tell kids to stop that as well for fear of being sued. Lol.

Whether they stop or not is up to them. They should be aware of that liability they’re exposed to certainly. Whether a signed waiver at time of purchase is sufficient to waive that liability or not I’m not sure. If it was me it would be well worth a 30 minute conversation with an attorney Let me clarify that I believe they become exposed to this liability primarily due to the elevated aspect of their blinds

I would love to see some idiot that Falls off the ladder go to an attorney and say a broke my leg because I was a dumb fuck so let’s sue these 18, 19, and 20 year old kids for their 82 Buick skylark. Bahahahaha. The attorney would say, ok instead of me taking this case on a percentage, why don’t you give me a $20,000 non refundable retainer and let’s go from there. Lol

Lol That’s the nice thing about insurance. If they got sued with insurance it would be their insurance company that would likely get sued. If they got sued without insurance the plaintiff would come after them personally and their belongings. Didn’t they just buy some land from you ?

I made sure that they were covered so some idiot can’t come and take their land.
