Great pics and a testament to the difference in our deer herds. My pumpkins rotted to the ground. I rubbed apples on them and poured corn on them. They avoided them like the plague.
A couple of nice bucks!

A couple of nice bucks! These are city deer. Their world is dominated by bush honeysuckle. I think they are happy to get any treat.

Are your pumpkins not frozen? Mine were getting hit until they froze rock solid.

They broke into them before we froze. They kept eating even after freezing.
I’m not sure they could get into them if they froze first.

Are your pumpkins not frozen? Mine were getting hit until they froze rock solid. Few minutes with a limb ax will make them available no matter how frozen.

I bust mine up before they freeze. Couple swings with a hatchet.
