That's fuckin awesome Mo! How the hell did you move twenty geezers across town? They let you take the bus? Hell ya, we take a 20 passenger van they have and a couple vehicles if we have too. Pile all the walkers and wheel chairs in the back, oldies in the seats and head to the Bar! Takes about 20 minutes to get them off and in the place and a little longer to load them back up!

I think you handled the situation the best you could. Give em notice and be honest.
MO, My sister works in a nursing home and my wife used to. I'm showing them the pic. They will love it.
My guess is that MO is probably a good guy in general. Definitely one who thrives in self employment. But you probably make a shitty employee.

Good luck out west Tad! I've been to many western states and the backcountry and it is easy to imagine living out there. Sounds like a good move at your age, you only live once.

Make sure you get to salmon fishing. I have to imagine being in Idaho, you could about day-trip somewhere to fish for them. Also, being that high up in elevation, perhaps the salmon out there aren't chocked full of mercury and other shit that you can't eat them like in the great lakes. I'd give all three of my nuts for some clean water fresh salmon. Simon Biles and Sasha Banks have salmon as key parts of their diets. Good enough for me.

You do the math. My wife just saw your old folks pic. She loved it and thinks you are a saint.

A guy gets laid off when they are hiring, by telling the owner of the company you work for to stay the hell off the job and stop bothering me. His loss, not mine. My life seemed to work out better than his since his company went belly up 10 years ago, and I am still going strong! Well as old as I am, nothing is strong anymore other than my pie hole. And tell your wife, no saint, just hope when I am in that place someone stops by and takes me to the Bar once in a while!

The intended area is near several big lakes that have chinook and kokanee salmon, but the elevation is actually only around 2,100-2,300 ft. But no idea on mercury levels, some old mining activity in the surrounding mountains so that can't help at all. I will probably have a better chance of getting a car accident driving out there than catching and eating enough fish to make me sick. A lot of rivers and streams and alpine lakes higher up that have trout. I have been going over my hunting gear trying to figure out what to get rid of and what to think about upgrading. Haven't even started looking at the fishing gear. It would be about 2.5 hours to the Clearwater River salmon and steelhead, looks like they would be a blast to catch: clearwaterriversalmonfishing.com/www.fishstotts.com/Also, do you follow any of the crossfit chicks like Brooke Wells, Lauren Fisher or Camille leBlanc? Seems like they would be right up your alley with the wwe, gymnasts, and olympic volleyball chicks.

I don't, but I just checked them out. The last one was ok, but there's a find line between Simon/Sasha and dudes with boobs. I like the athletic women that are hard bodies, but still maintain their proper curvature. AJ Lee is a good example of good going too far. The good The bad And it's been a while since I've thought about Kinga! Oh mother Poland, first Pope John Paul II and now Kinga Kolosinska. It's not often but the homeland produces great people.

Mo- Great job with the old people.
If I tried to do that, they would probably load me in the van and think I belonged at the home!
Heck, they might be right!

Mo- Great job with the old people. If I tried to do that, they would probably load me in the van and think I belonged at the home! Heck, they might be right! I hear you there Art. Some days I feel like I belong in the home. Its funny, I have always been going in to see the wife at work and have dinner, so I would just stay after and visit with some of the residents. Most of them were just tired of sitting around staring at each other all day and wanted to do something else than bingo. So last year, I told the wife to try and line up a trip for as many of them to go out to eat for lunch. Said don't tell administration where, I would surprise them the day we are going. Got 21 of the old bastards to sign up. So we piled them all in a big van and a couple of cars and I toook them to the Brass Rail Bar in Stanchfield MN. It took us a 1/2 hour dam near to get them all off the bus with there walkers and wheel chairs and into the bar. But once in there they had a blast eating and boozing it up. When they got back to the nursing home all they did was talk about getting out of that place for a day to have some fun. So a group of them got together and went to administration telling admin, they want to go to the bar once a month......so now they go to the Bar once a month! One of the downsides was, and there always has to be a downside, It screws up some of the people with there meds. But they dont care! They just want out of that place once in a while instead of staring at the floor all day!
