I win $18.52 yesterday and right away they all start screaming sandbagger here at the clubhouse bar. Lol
Got a big member member tournament in a couple of days. Can’t wait to really win some big money. Might get like $25 or something. Lol!

I got to try golfing some day. Sounds like fun. Golfing is the hardest sport in the world for a beginner. Believe me there is a huge learning curve before you can actually "play". Very frustrating sometimes. Not saying you shouldn't do it as it is a blast. Just be prepared for a lot of "Bad" shots.

If I could put. I would be a 10 handicap already. But what do you expect with a .25 cent putter I bought at a garage sale. Lol!

Clubs can have some affect in your score.....but like they say...."It's not the arrows; it's the Indian". I've tried to "buy a game" with better clubs. Has not done a thing for my scores. I always feel I am going to get my handicap down.....but it seems to go the other way.
I know I dont hit the ball as long as last year. I suppose it's age....but I have also worked to get control of the ball regardless of distance. Made up my mind that if I can eliminate the out of bounds penalties and water balls.....I can have pretty good scores. Been avoiding trouble when possible.

Their second shots are what makes them good. Not a 250 yard drive. That is what I need to work on.

When my wife and I became serious about playing better golf.....it likely took three years to quit whiffing and chunking every shot. I still have issues with the game....but so do others. Even the pro's need to constantly work on their swing techniques and need to take allot of practice swings before hitting the ball. It's not a natural thing for most folks. I wish there was more short cuts to good golf. Alas. Understand the club path and face angles is a big part of the game and understanding the "gear effect" of the club on the ball is a huge thing too. Those little dimples add spin to the ball and the club will add to that spin depending how you strike the ball. Crazy game.

It works and I am to old to change things.
