Hit my best ever round yesterday with a 79. Three birdies and some birdie juice to top off the day. Fun! . What was your score on the back 9?

I did have two holes with a double bogie....and a ball somehow found the water (more wind that I figured). The rest of my game was great.....by my standards. Wish I could replay those holes. Putting was crazy good...and my driver was working. Despite all that.....this morning I got fitted for new PXG's. Kaboom Baby! (and kaching...in the wallet)

He’s golfed a bunch down there. Putt for dough drive for show! 3 birds will always help the score.

They originated out of Arizona but have pro shops in major metropolitan cities. There is a PXG pro-shop in the Twin Cities. For high-end clubs they are much better priced then the competition.

PXG = Parsons Extreem Golf. Parsons is the guy that put "Go Daddy" together for the web. Made a few billion. He is an X Marine and very proud of his "go it alone" strategy in business. Turned allot of heads with high prices and good equipment.....now he has good equipment and popular prices. Interesting dude. He hired some of Ping's top engineers and applied some modern manufacturing techniques. . Some say he is brilliant.....others say he is losing his azz. I think he is more brilliant.....than a loser. KABOOM BABY!

KABOOM BABY! I don't think he is losing his ass. He isn't paying the big endorsements that Taylormade, Callaway, Titleist and Ping are paying to the pro golfers. This enables him to discount his clubs to the masses. So what PXG clubs did you end up getting.

All 14 clubs and a bag, etc. Hard to not buy this package as they have a super discount on same. Takes a bit to understand all the details of what they are selling. A bit misleading at times....unless you have followed their product line for some time. Borders on deceptive....IMO.

Have you got your new clubs yet? How do you like them? I absolutely love the irons, wedges and hybrids. No question they are the real deal. Extended my range especially on the lower lofted clubs.....up to 20 yards (on that hybrid). My five iron has come alive now....and so it goes. The Driver has taken a bit to hit cleanly....but it's coming. I can swing it fairly slow and get similar yardage to my old driver.....maybe it is straighter.....a bit early to know. I just added these woods on my last round.....so as to not introduce so much new at one time.....and I was in a multi day tournament (we won some money in our flight). I hope after a few more rounds I can brag on my woods as I do on the irons. PXG has pretty good prices right now. Lots of Ping converts around here.
