We went from too wet to getting pretty dry in the past 2 days. Our garden is finally dry enough to plant some stuff again. Peas and onions are up and growing, I'm a bit surprised they made it thru the wetness

Wouldn’t u think they’d run out of shit to burn after 3 years?
It was the nicest damn day id seen since last fall, and in minutes that smoke came rolling in. It was so fast I almost jumped in my car to go see if someone started the mega wetlands on fire in the neighborhood.

A guy waits thru 5-6 months of winter for a beautiful May day, and the commies up north have to ruin things thanks to terrible forest management practices. It's getting a little old

Strange how fast that smoke ruined a nice day. When I was outside yesterday...it continued to make me cough. We were going to go for a cruise on the lake and do some dinner......but the air was too putrid to be outside. Today is starting out the same way. Grrrrrrrrrrr.

Well, I hope this isn't the beginning of yet another drought. Kind of odd to think about after all the rain a couple weeks ago.

Almost .5" in the rain gauge. That'll keep things growing

Had new gutters installed and not enough rain to even see if they work.

It went from too wet to pretty dry down here faster than I expected. We picked up .1" yesterday, but it sure seemed like a repeat of last year when I watched a nice storm break up just before it hit our place. Hopefully the rain in the forecast early next week arrives.
