We put 6 acres of beans in last Saturday, so far we've missed out on 3 chances of rain. It feels like last year all over again.

^^^you guys on light/sandy soil I'm sure will be happy for a possible 2"+ of rain. I'm also happy for some rain, but 2" will/would turn our garden into a mud pit.
Tomatoes and peppers will be fine since they're on higher, lighter ground. The main garden soil is some beautiful stuff, but it's low ground.
Whatever we get, we'll get. I need to take the Ranger to Holdingford for service, a wet, cool week will make that easier to get done.

Picked up over an inch yesterday and more rain this morning and then severe weather tonight. At least the beans should grow now.

Got maybe .5" in the rain gauge now and plenty more on the way according to the forecast. An all day soaker like this would sure be great in mid July

1 inch over night in Big Lake. I guess take it while we can get it!!!
A mid summer soaker would be a great thing to see once again.

Drove to Little Falls to shop (ran into an old fisherman there) and when I got back there was a bit over an inch in the rain gauge. Seemed like east of Flensburg got much less.
I'd be just fine if we didn't get anymore, but I don't think that's going to happen.

2 1/8" inches at the official Nisswa gauge so far......and still gently raining. This has been a great soaker. My wife broadcast some lawn over-seed while I was playing golf yesterday. Perfect. (What a girl!).
Things have changed dramatically since I got back here to the Tundra two weeks ago. Feels more like summer now.
