I need a new hand spreader for small seeds like clover and brassicas. I've read earth way 2750 is a good one, but what do you guys recommend?
My cheap bag style one broke, so I need to get a new one soon so I'm looking for advice.

I paid $210 (blower plus attachment). I had 3 lbs of ladino clover and been able to stretch it over 7 acres with this tool. No more accidental heavy seeding. Hard hat not included.

That's awesome. It's not at all what I want, but I like it anyway. I'm more impressed that you found a sidekick to assist you with the calibration step. I bet he thinks you are bat shit crazy for buying a super seed blower, but he was a good enough sport to help anyway.

It was funny. And I get Roger involved in all kinds of adventures.

I got tired of buying a new spreader every two years because gears stripped or I kept getting a billion brassica plants per square foot.

Probably not what you are looking for either, but this is what I am using for my small plots.

We have two of the 20 lb solo seeders and really like them. I also have a small hand held orange one I really like just too small for larger areas. I will see what it is later

I have the Solo that Brad pointed out. It is 10 years old and works the same as the day I bought it. All I have done is wash it out after using. Works great for small seed. Tried doing corn out of it once for a narrow strip along outside edge of food plot and a kernel got caught and wouldn't allow seeder to spin. Got the kernel out and it performed flawlessly.

I highly recommend one with the arm/wrist loop thing (if you get a small hand held one). I have two versions of the same thing; one with just a handle and one with the loop thing. I ALWAYS grab the one with the loop.

Thanks for the info, this is just the info I was looking for. It looks like there are quite a few different seeders that work well for everyone. It sounds like that 20 pound solo has been mentioned by a few of you guys, so I looked at that one a little closer and it looks great. It seems like a pretty heavy duty design that is big enough that it should work well when I have a couple acres to plant.
The online reviews for that model mirror what you guys said, so I just ordered one off Amazon. I appreciate everyone's feedback on this and I'll let you know how it goes.
