If nobody complains they will never improve their design. Yep.....Kubota admitted to the dealer that they have had some problems just as I had stated there would be........and Kubota stood behind the dealer having the plate made up to specs I saw on the inter webs. I brought them pics and a fabrication drawing - no less. Grin. So......other than allot of wasted time and aggravation......life is good. .

Stick to your guns TOM. Your putting out a good dollar and should get what you pay for. Plenty of dealers around who will take your money. Just off the phone with my dealer. They did the right thing. Kubota is paying for a plate that will be made and installed by my dealer. Now....a Thursday delivery. Waaaay too long....but it will be complete. I got work to do at my land.....been saving mowing for the new rig......and got a plot to work up and plant. Rain coming Saturday Foggy.

We got a rainfall last night. I think 1/10" or more around the area. That ground I worked up was pretty wet.....so a light rain now oughta make those seeds sprout. It looked to me like your place up at the stabbin cabin should have gotten a good shower (?).

I just stopped by the dealer to check on delivery for tomorrow (finally). They were just going after a QD coupler to hookup my grapple....and were also picking up Thad protective plate I needed. They seem to do nice work.....but can’t seem to have the parts complete when needed. Maybe because they are new with Kubota?....but T this point delivery is close and hopefully they get a bit better with some timing of stuff. Chit happens. Here is a pic of it. (Oooops tap a talk can’t deliver?) uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180801/155ccc2f784be66b6abf0dEdit : I guess the pic function at Tap a talk is down?? Sorry.

Good looking machine! Other than being slow and not timely, have they been good to work with otherwise?

Yeah.....I think they will be OK. They are a bit new and a little green on how everything works.....but they also have allot of experience in machinery stuff in general. They sell allot of forklifts and that sort of thing in the Metro....so Kubota is new for them. The Salesman was with Deere for 15 years. He owns some land down by Fort Ripley. Sounds like they are going to offer Frigid Forage Seeds next year......and recognize the food plot farmers as a good market for this stuff. Nice, new facility on 371. Seem like a well planned company....and I think they are going to have more stores in the Northland in time to come.

Well....they (finally) delivered my new tractor today......and I wrote the check for it. Spent some time kinda rigging things up - hydraulic top link, tool holder in loader frame, yadda yadda. Had a few issues figuring out how to run things (they had the hydraulics turned "off" to the three point......but the manual got me underway pretty quick. I mowed for nearly six hours today.......and did so in air conditioned, clean, COMFORT. Was pretty happy with the operation.....tho there are a few things on the JD product I do like better. Still, all in all, this is a full-featured tractor with lots of bells and whistles - even more than I expected. I like the "stall-guard feature allot. I can see the auto throttle working really well when doing loader work. And I can get used to the treadle peddle.....but given a choice .....I would take the dual peddles as found on Deere over this set-up.
The cab is outstanding.....and it was nice to breath clean air and not be a filthy pig at the end of mowing for over 6 hours. The tractor is more nimble than I thought....and I was able to slip thru some fairly tight spaces on my trails......tho I need to trim a few more branches due to the cab. I am going to remove some unneeded flashing light - lest I break em.
Pictures to follow - via tap-a-talk.

6 hours of mowing is a great way to break er in! How is the noise reduction in the cab?

6 hours of mowing is a great way to break er in! How is the noise reduction in the cab? If it's anything like my FIL's cab tractor it's like driving a freakin car. My wife drives it and says it's cheating; "not a REAL tractor if you can hear the radio, feel the AC, and not breath air that is a higher concentration of dust than oxygen". (she grew up without a cab on her tractor and thinks everyone should suffer the same as she did.)
