That seems a little early for them to be pruning in upstate NY but, maybe they’re not expecting any cold weather from here on out.

It's about 10 days earlier than I've ever received them in previous years.

I just received my notification as well. I guess I’ll be waxing the ends and making room in the refrigerator.

Tracking shows mine should arrive Monday instead of today. Same here. It looks like they went with 2nd day air. I think in the past it was over night? Monday is just fine with me

Monday is just fine with me Yeah I’ll just get them waxed and in the refrigerator on Monday. It’s supposed to be in the 50s here Saturday and Sunday. Not good for fruit trees.

A whole bunch of single digit and below zero highs in the extended forecast.

We were 0 yesterday at the camp but, had 4” powder snow. A mile down the hill they got a dusting. The big temperature swings are not good for the fruit trees. I think is when you’ll see the bark damage on the younger trees.

I decided not to order this year. I am short of room. Every year I say I'm not going to request any more GRIN scions...and every year I am wrong. I did not request any pear scions this year, so I'm at least making some progress
