In my state of the Legacy Section I told you I was commissioning the immediate construction of a new ground blind that could be erected without grid power and will revolutionize the way we hunt deer at Stab Camp. It’s starts with a solar lit garage used to frame walls after the sun goes down. We don’t quit working just because it’s nighttime. I commissioned my human to mule all the walls out to the destination on foot. I offered my water bowl as recognition of his hard work. He declined. Next was assembly and painting. A roof has since been put on. I still need to get it wrapped and install the door. Two weeks should be done. May move the window around a little yet.

Will there be solar power in the blind?

Will there be solar power in the blind? Haven’t ruled it out yet. I have sheep falling away from the flock this year. I may buy some extra panels.

Bob, What are the dimensions on that hut? 6x6 outside and full 6’ height inside. What will you be sitting on? A bench or a chair? Or a 5 gallon bucket?

Bob, I'm calling you out. If you were truly building off the grid the screws would have been put in manually not with a cordless drill/driver that requires grid power to charge the battery.

Don’t know what that means yet, but that’s what I’m aiming for. I gotta find a way to keep these guys in the field long enough so we get a damn dear for once.

Maybe I can explain myself better... That blind was built on site with no grid or generator power present. The point is, I didn’t have to have grid at the cabin to make it happen. That’s why I’m still eating top shelf pacific salmon and wild caught tuna. By the way, where is our resident grid dependent fist shaking solar grouch?

You just ruined part of the Ozone with those spray cans......where is your sense of responsibility for the climate man?? You could have easily applied that paint with a brush. .....and now, you will need the grid to re-charge those ni-cad batteries. ROFLMAO. . And.....it does make me wonder if those 2x2's were cut with power or by hand saw. Methinks the former was employed. Dis-engenous purveyor of grid-free power. Some would say "Bullschmidt". . You can't save 'em all. . 100%? Reeeeally??? . You flipping solar guys crack me up.

The overall effect on the ozone from those two cans pales in comparison to the waste of idle loads from things we leave plugged in year round and barely use. 2. They are 2x3’s. 3. Got it done without being hooked up at camp. 4. Also built this without grid power at camp. Look at these compound cuts we made on site with the chainsaw. I’d like to have my guys use an excavator to plant trees, but like grid power, it isn’t necessary.
