Reminder, you will need to wear orange next weekend. I have never heard, but do you have to wear orange if you are duck hunting during a gun season??

Puke. Not a fan, they can hunt with their dads and uncles with a bow already? Now we have 30 gun season days in MN.

Don't tread on me. I'm cashing in my money in the bank deer tag and putting one down. You guys gotta quit hogging the natural resources. We're supposed to share everything equally, no matter how little I've done on or near your property.

WTF guys. So what if my 17 year old Son looks like hes 24, is 6'4"/190LBS and can dead lift 400. He's eligible to kill a deer with his rifle next weekend and I'm gonna let him try. Does that make me a bad person? I mean, I'm already a bad person. But does this make me MORE bad?

Kooch—no, I think the season has merits in some areas. Not statewide. It’s just a lot of gun hunting in MN.

Quit being so nice. I will tell you though, if he kills a deer we'll probably be done killing for the year. I'll still hunt, but mostly to learn more about the property and herd. Of course, if I see a nice buck I'd kill it. But that won't be the driving factor. It's just going to be me and Mrs Kooch during the regular firearms season this year. Should be a nice break. She's fun to be around when she is allowed to quit being the mother of teenage kids for a day or two. Edit - After I read my post, it occurs to me that my bride probably would not appreciate being called "Mrs Kooch". Just a guess though. I'm not going to test the theory.

Didn’t your county already have a youth hunt?

Can someone tell me why I’m not allowed to bring my bow next weekend when my daughter is participating in the youth hunt?? I’m a licensed bow hunter.

What? You can legally bring a bow and gun to your stand for you.
