Checked a camera near my sanctuary. Looks like I should have been there during first weekend of slug. I don’t know if he made it??

Snow is starting to get a bit deep. The forecast is for 5-8 inches Friday and Sat. with 40 mph winds. I like how the snow doesn't melt on the back of the buck. Pic taken Jan. 15th

4 cards pulld from the farm. Zero bucks older than 1.5 Grrrrrreat That seems odd. Are the hunters that efficient in your area?

The rest shoot ta kill. Oh well. It used to drive me batshit crazy. But i cant change others. Neighbors are honestly great people. They just dont agree passing deer. They think we are nuts. Haaa.

I have neighbors up north that seldom pass a deer and most of these are older people. They usually just want one for the freezer and are done. One other bunch is a problem. They are younger and they hunt for months with the rifle. I wish they would hunt turkeys instead.

We have a mix of neighbors in MN. OTC pretty good neighbors. They meat hunt, but only 3-4 days a year. By Starbuck it’s quite a mix some very good, others just keep hunting all year. I can’t complain too much, it is what it’s is. I’ve got a neighbor that borders me that is a nice guy. But he lets everyone hunt. New guys in for all seasons. They shot the 2 biggest bucks we were after. I just wish he would limit the hunters to say 5-6. I think he has 12 guys in there (off/on) on roughly 200 acres. This buck was on our 80 for much of the year. I videoed him, lots of trail cam pics. Close calls in stand. Died during Muzzy about 100 yds to my East.
