I like to leave an ATV width around the perimeter of my corn field. The trees steal most of the sunlight and moisture in that area anyway, so I just let weeds grow up there and run them over with my ATV pulled brush hog a couple times during the summer. I've never planted anything in that ATV trail, but it seems like clover fills in there naturally. I think the round-up drift kills off lots of other weeds there, but the clover pops back on its own.

So I measured the wheeler and the tractor and it appears like 36" would be perfect for me. 32" is fine for spraying with the wheeler but would only leave 2" or less between the tractor tire and where it will plant. Too tight I think.

go 36 inches and then drill beans between the rows. works well. You obviously will run over some rows of beans, but you will have plenty in there that make it

Ok so I called the guy. He has one sitting there right now that is adjustable from 32"-40". Just pick it up. Loosen the U bolts and slide it. I like that idea.

2 row planter for 4wh
Pricey but interesting.
each planter is adjustable and comes with a receiver adapter and can be used on anything with a 2-inch receiver from an ATV to a pickup. (3) Planters consist of 2 – International 295 Row Units, 10 seed plates/row unit, 4 different sprockets/row unit. (1) Planter consists of 2 – International 295 Row Units, 8 seed plates/row unit and 3 different sprockets/row unit. Each planter comes with an owner’s manual so between the seed plates and sprockets pretty much any seed and seeding rate is achievable. And all 4 planters come with drag chains. The tool bar is raised and lowered by a 2,500 lb winch with a wireless remote and has 3 different height adjustments that can be used depending on what vehicle the planter is hooked to. Each tool bar comes with 50-60 lbs of plate weights for extra down pressure that can be added or removed depending on planting conditions. Also on each lift is a caster wheel that is rated up to 600lbs, on which 2/3 of the planter weight is transferred too when the planter is up in the air.

Looks great Brad, that should get the job done. How much does it way? Can you feel it back there or is it pretty light?
