Down another 4 lbs this week. I'm now under 200 for the first time in a couple of years.

Here I am at week 6. I've lost 5.6 since last Monday's post. Where my average was 2-2.5 lbs per week. Earlier I said the snow storm super charged my loss and here's the proof. What happened is with the storm we got we had rain, sleet, snow all mixed together. I didn't see walking outside as safe. Ever since I fell at work last spring and dislocated my elbow I've been super paranoid about falling. You know us old fuckers don't bounce like we once did. Since the wife has a decent treadmill in the basement & I had bought a recumbent/elliptical combination when I had my knee replaced, these came into use. When I first started on the r/e unit I was done for in 7 minutes after a few days I was going 30. Then I'd give the treadmill a shot. In a 20 minute workout on the treadmill I'd burn more calories than a 3 mile walk outside. The wife didn't care much for the r/e but fell in love with her treadmill again. Since I also prefered the treadmill we took turns. That got old so I sold the r/e unit and bought another treadmill. I have diabetic foot pain (peripheral neuropathy) & I found that my feet don't get as sore when walking on the treadmill as both have decks that have some sort of cushioning built in that is adjustable. You can make them hard like a road surface or soften them up. We still do some outside walking in the evenings but the treadmill has so many advantages. Not affected by weather, you can stop and shit or piss any time you want and its not there yet but we are talking about a TV on the wall. Look out 185 here I come, shit I may even go to 180.

Congrats to you guys that are loosing so much wt! Tooling, my wife has nerve pain in her feet from bunions and prefers the treadmill too. I play on my phone when on it. 30min is a long time on a treadmill for me (mentally), but I run for an hour on the roads and not think twice about it.

Granted looking at a wall while on the treadmill sucks. I always have my earbuds in playing good tunes to pass the time and thinking of the end results help.. TV on the wall is seriously being considered. Now I put the tablet on watch videos and listen to my tunes. Shit I can even get netflix on my tablet and watch a show. So TV on wall is just an optional upgrade.

The new treadmill came with a 6 month subscription to I-Fit. Not something I would pay for but since it was free I figured to give it a try. I guess I won't have to stare at the wall.

I might recommend Angelica Larsson. Lots of good information about trucking in Sweden and mechanics in general. In this video, she's gotta drive Purple Danger over to her parents house to put on her snow tires. She got caught off guard by the snow, so she's had to put on her wool socks, but she's also got cat hair on her yoga pants that she hits with a lint roller before leaving. She also had to move the wee-low-der. Then her dad yelled at her in their native language. Sounded like the guy on the right from the ice fishing scene in Letterkenny.

The mountain bike trail opened this weekend. I've been waiting for weeks to ride it. Not nearly as boring as walks around the neighborhood or riding on the road. Unfortunately I crashed 3/4 of the way through and dislocated a finger. Now its back to walking again until it heals.

-16.5 since this all started. Weighed myself this morning. I lost a lot quicker to start. But, eating like that just isn't sustainable for me. It looks like I've settled in to about a pound a week. This I can sustain, I think.

Down another 3 lbs this week according to my scale. Pretty sure its not very accurate. A couple of days ago it said I was up 1/2 lbs. No way I gained weight the 1st part of the week then lost 3.5 lbs in two days. The overall trend though is still going down.

I still haven't weighed myself, and likely won't. I ran 9 miles two days ago in 1:06, and this morning I ran 2.5 miles and did 220 pushup in roughly 18 minutes. I'll know I'm at the right at when those types of workouts feel "light".
