here is a picture of the 5 point rabbit my dad shot yesterday. Further investigation showed that a disease causes this, so those two rabbits were incinerated when I burned an old brush pile. The other 2 we bagged will be turned into rabbit stew today. They woulda made a cool skull mount!

i killed a Boone and Crockett rabbit tonight that had horns like an antelope. No joke either- it actually had horns like a doe antelope. I thought I was something special until my dad shot a 5 point rabbit 5 minutes later. Holy crap, that's cool as hell! It's a STD! Pappillomavirus. I would be collecting them on a string like turkey spurs.

Dang Jeff you don’t even have any snow. That sucks. Late season hunts you need snow...

The grass in the pic has an island of high ground about 100 yrds away. Does love that spot. Maybe the cold front will push them out. They have great cover and browse

Closer and you'll risk spooking them out the other side. Just bad luck... or keep trying.

Yanked 5 cams in otc. Day pics are a rarity since late oct. No surprise.
I should do a ratio count. Day vs night.
