Well for some reason these deer thought there was some clover left so they dug down in the snow to get at it. It’s snowed since they were there. There’s 5 deer in this photo which is an improvement from when we bought the property. These were photos taken this morning of the plot.

The deer are digging for grass over the drain field for my septic tank.

The deer are digging for grass over the drain field for my septic tank. There is clover over the drain field of my septic tank. There were 5 nice (what I consider nice anyway) bucks on it at daybreak this morning...

2 does and 2 fawns eating whatever they can scrounge from the clover plot west of the house right now. I pulled a SD card out there yesterday. Does/fawns pretty much all hours of the day/night off and on. Deer crap everywhere

Clover and wheat the only green right now. Changing quickly though. Deer are in the green at all hours.

It looks like I had some winter kill on part of a small ridge on at least one clover plot. Must have been that 2 week span of -25ish temps without much snow.
