Ok, it's been talked about so here it is. Whos got them and why do you like them. I've been thinking of getting an electric pressure cooker for cooking in. The pressure canner is just to big for that. I see some electric pressure cooker have an air frier option. What are the benifits?

I have made calzones that were awesome. All our leftovers go in. Kids can use it easy. No preheating. I can have hash brown patties done before the oven would have preheated. Single biggest use is left over pizza.

Perfectly cooked steak every time.
I have the pressure cooker combo. Use it for a huge variety of cooking and haven't even come close to figuring all out it.

We use our Ninja Foodie for pressure cooking whole chickens. Some of our bigger birds won't fit though. About a 5 lb. bird is as big as will fit. Cuts the time in about half compared to roasting in the oven. I have to say though, the roast birds come out tasting better to me.

How does it do with bacon? I wrapped steak in bacon and air fried it. The bacon was done but not crispy at the time the steaks were med rare. Threw them in the cast iron for a quick sear. Worked well. Haven't tried just plain bacon yet.

The wife bought a "power XL" and uses it ALOT! She uses it at least 2 or 3 times a week. We have not used it to re-heat anything, but she has made fries, tots, chops, bacon, wings and the like. Kids use it for their chicken nuggets as well. It's not as heavy on the oil as deep frying and is faster for smaller portions as well. I don't think she paid a lot for it. I don't use it....I try to stay out of the kitchen.

I have an air fryer on My blackstone. I am so stupid that I forget to turn on the convection fan. I am still in the learning phase. we had walleye last night and it was excellent.

Confirmed. Air fryer bacon works well. The thing I liked is that the bacon is in the basket, and all the grease drops through into the bucket. I guess not that I am concerned with bacon frying in its own grease, but it cooked very well and didnt drain much when placed on paper towels. Cooked relatively fast.
Only downside,,,,, not much space to cook more than 4 or 5 half slices at a time in mine.

Ok, I bought one of these things last week. So far, I've done bacon and pork chops. Been looking to add something to the limited menu at home, so I think I'm gonna try some thighs and legs tonight. I like BLB's idea of hitting them with buffalo sauce at some point. I'll get that dialed in.
Anyone done legs and thighs and know what settings to use? The book is about for shit when it comes to instructions. It gives time, but no mode or temp.
