Massachusetts supposedly opened up their vaccines to residents 75 and older at 800am this morning. I have friends who logged on for the 800am opener and there were no vaccines available so it makes you wonder why things are so different from state to state. We know New York has been mishandled from the start. Other states are running smoothly.

The news said that MN has 35K doses of the vaccination for this week. At that rate, it would take nearly 3 years to vaccinate everybody in the state.

I've figured all along it would be early summer at the earliest before my wife and I could get it...and at this point I'm not sure either of us will. If we're not forced into it due to some restriction/exclusion, we will likely just wait until we either get the 'rona and get it over with or until most of the kinks get worked out with the vaccinations.

Not smart is saying 'what does it matter' when those soldiers were left for dead in Benghazi. Not smart is alienating half of your population under the pretense of 'unity'.
Choosing to get a vaccine proven 'questionably' effective compared to your own immune system to a virus that has been proven also to be 'not so deadly' as the media and monopolies of industry would have you think is much less about 'not smart' or 'common sense'.

I don't plan to get the vaccine for covid-19 at this time. First I think I may have gotten the covid back in March with mild symptons. Then some other past vaccines/boosters that I have already gotten appear to help with covid-19. Also there is now talk of a similar virus that went around about 8 years ago that may be related to covid-19 and offers some protection if you had that in the past, and I believe myself and close family got that at that time. Finally vitamin D is a big help in battling the covid and spring sunshine will be here soon.
Next fall, the virus may be different, the vaccine may be different, and with a lack of vitamin D in winter I may get a covid vaccine at that time.

Need to do more research for her immunity......
oh wait, if we publicly shame families into vaccinating their kids we'll all have herd immunity.
This is a game and a dark one these political people are playing.

A lot of you guys are too young to remember but when I was young I remember lining up for my polio vaccine in late 50's. A lot of people at the time had doubts and fought getting vaccine. Look what a success that vaccine was. Foggy and Sandbur might remember this.

Yes, people have passed away, in reality its no more tragic than any other year or scenario. It may be personal for some with friends and/or family but the truth of the matter still remains. Covid is not anywhere in the same stratosphere as Polio.

Covid is not anywhere in the same stratosphere as Polio. If you go by deaths and by people needing hospitalization Covid 19 is worse than polio. "In 1952 alone, nearly 60,000 children were infected with the virus; thousands were paralyzed, and more than 3,000 died. Hospitals set up special units with iron lung machines to keep polio victims alive. Rich kids as well as poor were left paralyzed." Population is just a tad larger in 2020 than 1952....
Its a cold virus, of coarse its going to be more 'widespread'. Its a targeted virus that makes human sense of smell & taste go on mute. It was created for exactly the political movement that we live now.
