If anyone knows of a 60-120 acre parcel in OTC, Todd, Douglas,,,,,Morrison (possible).
I have a buyer looking and he is qualified. He primarily bow hunts, wants to find a property with ideal mix of woods,tillable/CRP and some swamp. Open to other options.
Let me know

I drove from my place to NCR today, I was watching for "For Sale" signs and saw zero. I did see a couple in Douglas county on my way back (took a different route)

North Star sold #4478009 Will probably be for sale. Around 140 acres. I sold it a couple years ago. The guy built a house on it and is selling the house and 8 or 10 acres. He has a contingent offer on it. When it sells he said he would sell the land. The wetland is in the RIM program. The woods is not. He has foodplots and has trails in the woods. Good population of deer.Has some nice bucks on trail cam. I have survey and outline of RIM acres if interested.

Let me know if this link works matrix.northstarmls.com/Matrix/Public/Portal.aspx?ID=18697908723#1. Click on the earth icon to get the google overhead view. He ended up with 150 acres and paid 150K. He will probably want a litle more. He hired someone to make trails in the woods, planted some trees etc.One of the pictures shows a red outline on the overhead. That is not totally accurate. That was taking out 15 acres to go with the existing farmstead. It ended up being 10 acres.

If he is interested in the house he could still get that as the offer is contingent on the buyer selling their house. No offers so far. The seller of the land is being represented by another agent in our office.

The one guy has health problems and not much of a long distance traveler. The other guy, he might consider a farm down there??

I am really hoping that some day the MN will figure it out, or at least our part of the state will make some changes??

I am really hoping that some day the MN will figure it out, or at least our part of the state will make some changes?? Unfortunately change comes very slowly and it won't come from locals. During the rifle season I looked at every dead deer I could see, back of trucks, butcher etc. and the number of yearlings, forks, spikes etc. is the majority of deer I saw. I talked to 2 brothers at the BP in Parkers, they had 2 forks in their truck, they seemed relieved they had filled their tags. I congratulated them and went on with my business. Many people just don't have our goals in mind and as my neighbor the farmer comments, not everyone farms for deer.

Many people just don't have our goals in mind and as my neighbor the farmer comments, not everyone farms for deer.I think the more accurate description is this..... Few people farm for deer. The reports I have this gun season around us, are all yearling bucks shot by our neighbors. We saw no bucks over 1.5 years old. The sad fact is not only are the deer numbers questionable, but now its become a very young population. 5 years ago on camera, I would be getting numbers of mature bucks showing up during rut, granted it was night pics for the most part. The last couple years, I have gotten nothing on cam 3.5 or older. None. Most bucks are yearlings. This year was the worst I have had on trail cams for age of bucks.
