Picked up a bottle of perethrin 10 today but they also had a bottle of 38%. It was a better buy but it was for the yard instead of livestock. I checked the ingredients and didn't see a difference other than percentages. Is there a reason not to buy the 38% yard chemical and just dilute it to .5?

Ticks seen/found on my person/clothes while wearing the treated clothing over literally hundreds of hours in the field this spring - 1
Ticks seen/found on my person/clothes while wearing untreated shorts/t-shirt/sock/shoes today over the course of 6-7 hours in the field - 7
Too damn hot to be wearing all those clothes today, but it is plain to see the benefit of doing so

Do you wash treated cloths with others?

I don't. You can smell it in the washing machine after you do it. So I keep a backup load of stuff to wash after it to clean it out a little better. I'd line dry your stuff too.

I do. Once treated they are just clothes. The smell doesn't stay after coming out of the dryer. Never noticed it transferring to other clothes.

Do you wash treated cloths with others? Not usually. I don't think it's a big deal to do so, but try to avoid it whenever possible.

I had a guy stop by yesterday for food plot seed that pulled 6 ticks off himself while waiting for me to write up the invoice. WTF?

I've found a ton of ticks on me this yr while standing in mowed or short grass. The only way they could get on me is to climb up my shoes. I find a lot less after treating my shoes.

I had a hard time with ticks while burning this spring. I swear they were trying to crawl away from the fire and find safety on me. Nice of him to bring them to your place. Nothing like getting a fresh supply brought in. I wonder what the inside of truck was like...

Back when Marv was more cavalier about it, he'd take home a bag of his clothes for the wife to wash. She'd dump them on the floor of the laundry room and the ticks were running all over.

Went to pick up a bag of lime I had up there and this nightmare promptly rolled out of it. The only reason there are 7 there is because five hopped onto my pants right at my belt line.
