Good Lord, 13 gallons of green beans. wow. I do 6 to 8 pints of pickled green beans a year. Plenty.

Just got done pulling 9 pints of chicken from the pressure canner, they are still bubbling. I hope they turn out half as good as the beef. 2 of the 9 have carrots, the rest nothing but chicken.

Opened up a jar of canned chicken tonight. Holy shit that stuff is good. Now if can only find more lids they are hard to come by.

Ball or Kerr lids are outrageously priced on Amazon. You can get off the wall brands but I'm not sure I'd trust them. I bought a dozen pint jars complete with bands and lids at fleet for under $10.00. Just lids are way more than complete kits. As it is now I've got more jars than I know what to do with them.
