How hard can it possibly be to fabricate a desired outcome? No wonder Murk got the boot.

CWD testing procedures must have been dramatically improved. I used to have to wait for weeks or more to get results. MN DNR gets results on 100s or 1000s (?) of tests in just a few days.

Maybe they in a panic as they watch license sales drop this year after scaring the shit out of everybody. Sound the alll clear and get some guys in the woods next weekend. Too many deer out there. Be careful.

Results are going to make the state wide feeding ban "sale" a little more difficult

Maybe they’re putting the trick back into the playbook for now. Use the CWD hoax to slaughter SE MN and be good with it. A reversion to the mean style winter is in order for zone 1 anyway.

It looks like they haven't even tested most of the samples yet, so I'm guessing that number will increase. That really sucks.
I wonder if they even tested any animals when they released the statement last weekend that no CWD was found.

Not good for SE MN (or the rest of us for that matter)

F*ck there goes the neighborhood(s)! Sucks for the entire state but the SE will surely be the proverbial lightning rod

I find it hilarious they blew the 'all clear' and now we find out they have tested virtually nothing?

There's probably no real way to quantify it, but the chance they had to shoot every CWD positive deer in Fillmore county last winter had to be virtually zero.
In emails Lou sent out prior to season he said on multiple occasions this process was "proven." Fucking clown

Fucking clown He tried to sell that last year and he will again this year...and a fair amount of folks will believe him again. Wonder how far the nearest testing was to OTC this year? I'm betting on some new "positives" showing up in areas where the DNR hasn't been able to reduce the herd to the levels they'd like.
