OK....so I figure from time to time I need to post some stuff on life down here in the banana belt. Gotta show you how rough it is down here. . Yesterday was my 49th anniversary....so I played golf with the mens league and my wife played in the women's group....went to a Japanese steak house for dinner and drinks. Nice night. . Today....went to the fitness center and worked off a little excess energy.....then to the Golf Expo where all the major equipment companies had a tent with the latest and they had some good clinics on how to play golf. Did a little practice pitching......and now relaxing on the patio as the sun goes down. It's rough here in OZ. Pic to follow.

One more pic before it’s too dark of the water feature in my back yard. Life is good.

^^. Tool'n......we got all kinda of birds that migrate from the north. Lots of Hummingbirds at our feeders. We got loads of ducks, geese, cormorants, mud hens, loads of quail, and various song birds. No shortage of wildlife here. I keep thinking I should be hunting.....but I dont seem to find time for it. FORE!

I saw people golfing today, wish would have taken a picture. It's below 30 and windy. They were bundled up and had canvas tents zipped up on their carts. Thought of you and life in oz.

They spent a shit pod of cash to hunt at night for deer in WI (the furthest north island) and kill less than 10 deer every year. Nothing to worry about.

Today was a workout at our fitness center followed by our neighborhood monthly outing. This time we went to Turf Paradise for lunch and some horse race action. Box seats in the Turf Club....nice. Won some / lost some. At the end of the day I am out about $15.....not bad for not knowing anything about playing the ponies. Fun day. Some of the horses that run here also run at Canterbury Downs in Minnesota.

Ouch.....saw those temps and snow coming to MN. Meanwhile.....down in OZ were hitting temps in the upper 70's. . Hit an 82 at golf today.....and had a few penalty strokes. Still on a quest to break 80. Next time for sure! FORE
