What’s the recipe for killing what I believe is wild mustard. I forgot to grab a picture, but I will next time I’m up there. IMOX/Raptor does a good job on yellow rocket and wild mustard. You wouldn't need to spend the money on Imox unless the weeds are in clover/alfalfa though. Something like Triplet www.forestrydistributing.com/triplet-sf-selective-herbicide-nufarm will do pretty good.

Spread 400 lbs. of pell lime on a couple small, weedy clover plots today. Probably right around .5 acre total. I don't think one of the plots has had ever had any liming. It was time.

House plot doesn't look too bad for a 5th or 6th year clover plot

This is my weedy clover from May 5th. I think this is 3 years old. I always broadcast rye or wheat in fall and I let it go. Should I mow it or spray it down?

Iron sulfate definitely kills moss. So that's good to know. I sprayed around 2.5 acres of clover/alfalfa on the neighbor's place and here today. I hit it all with 5 oz. IMOX, 8 oz. gly, 16 oz. cleth, and 3 pints Nitrosurf per acre. I either smoked everything, or should have some clean(ish) clover. It looks like this mix nuked most all of the grasses and weeds except for a few sedges and some mature thistle rosettes. The thistles are showing some yellowing, but I don't know if they'll be dead or not. The problem now is that without any spring moisture, the clover isn't thickening up/taking over the open areas. A guy just can't win sometimes...

Anyone mowing clover yet? Or adjusting mowing plans with the drought?

Anyone mowing clover yet? Or adjusting mowing plans with the drought? The old guy a couple miles north of me asked me about mowing clover. I told him I wouldn't be mowing any clover until/if we get a few inches of rain. I suppose if there's a whole bunch of weeds getting ready to set seed, then you'd have to decide if it's worth it or not.

I have one clover plot that could use a mowing but not sure if I want to risk it right now.

I am surely not firing up a mower for clover until something big changes.
Sucks, I have around an acre tilled that never got planted yet.....
