Cacti are flowering here in OZ. Temps in the mid 80's most days next week.....down from the mid 90's. Bermuda grass is greening up nice on the course now to replace the rye grass. Snakes are out now, and the scorpions can be found at night with black light.

The bugs in the Summer. It's the bugs more than the heat. If the bugs weren't so bad, I could walk around in flip flops and a tube top instead of being covered head to toe. Scary image right there, best to keep covered.

Days with temps above 68 are made for fishin’, not for workin’. Hit the lake at daybreak and be home for a nap before the heat hits.

Trailcam picture from my neighbor up north. He has it on the creek between our places. He said the geese were building a nest until the swans arrived. Here they are attacking one of the geese. No more nest according to him. Should be a season for those fucking swans. I’d love to pile up a few

Going to stay cold and freeze hard overnight on Monday in Mn. Not spring yet. Looks like that’s hitting my land on Thursday. We will either get an inch of rain or lots of snow. It depends if a front comes up the coast.

Do they migrate in huge flocks like geese?

Not sure if he was talking about Sandhills or swans, but he said swan. On second thought, the person must have been speaking of the Sandhills he shot in NW Mn....
