My take on the Fimcos are if you take care of them they are fairly reliable. If you don't, they turn into a piece of shit rather quickly.

It was the tank that cracked. Seems they give you a season or 2 then crap out.

I have not heard of a tank cracking before. Something maybe hit it, or get dropped? Odd.

My boomless sprayer from Northern Tool is going on either it's fourth or fifth year of use. Other than fixing the sprayer bracket (broke due to misuse on my part) the thing has performed very well. When it dies I'm sure I'll be pissed, but I'll buy another one just like it.

I have 3 acres of beans to spray and potentially another two acres next year so I was going to go 45 gal. Plus it comes with a higher capacity pump. I could probably get away with 25 though

One thing with fimco pumps is get at least the 2.1 gal per min, but way better would be the 3.8 gal per min Gold Series pump for 90 bucks.

It may cost $25 more....but it has lots more oomph. I gotta stock up on a few parts again. Most of these plastic parts are universal. But watch out for the proprietary spray nozzles on the boomlets sprayers......HOLY CRAP! I think those are about $90 a piece. I have not had to replace them.....but I have abused them a bit.....and wish I had known the price before I did. Some of the proprietary replacement stuff is outrageous.....but the common plastic parts are no big deal.

I would like to get the 25gal with the 3.8GPM pump, but I think the 25 gal only comes in ATV. It isn't a huge deal, but it would required me to run with the tailgate down on the UTV since the boom attachment is at the base vs the top as it is with the UTV sprayer. Would have to put more tie downs I'd imagine.
