Check that in-line filter coming out of the bottom of the tank and going into the pump. I have to clean mine out about 3rd tank full or so. Yep, I check it regularly. I need to call Fimco and provide them the symptoms and see what they say. I also need a couple parts. In the past I have always ordered online, is there a brick and mortar store that sells there parts? I think Fleetfarm has a few things.

Mimbach's Fleet Supply in St Cloud carries most everything for the FIMCO sprayers. That store is my fail-safe when I need parts or something unusual. Their prices are not the lowest.....but they do carry a good parts inventory. Mills is usually low on stock items....and don't carry much. TSC in Little Falls also has a few parts.

Don't forget about the filters in the spray nozzles. I had to clean mine out as they were causing problems once I start the pump.

I had luck getting parts from them in their North Sioux City, SD location. Maybe give them a call and they could ship some to ya?

I may have to break down and buy a sprayer and start spraying. Here's a pic of my corn, it's knee high but would have done better without the weeds. I may go with the 2 nozzle boom rather than the 7, it will spray 80" wide. I'll be able to spray trails easier this way. Besides, my plot isn't that big. free photos upload website

Take the nozzles and screen off and start the sprayer to get any chunks out of the lines. Just for a second or two to be sure its all clear.

This is what should be inside the nozzle body before you screw the tip back on. Sometimes they dont want to fall out when you unscrew the tip. So just take something small like tooth pick to reach up inside the screen and drag it out. Should be part of your maintenance to clean them and the tank screen before storing for the winter.

Just looked at the exploded view of my FIMCO boomlets sprayer. I believe I only have ONE screen which is located in the tank at the suction line going to the pump. No boom screens for the nozzles according to the parts explosions I saw. PHEW.....thought I was missing something important.

You better look closer Foggy, its in the parts list for nozzles on both the boomless sprayer and the 7 nozzle boom sprayer. Look for the 50 mesh screen between the spray tip and the nozzle body.
